Well,I thought to myself "why not reviewing my High 5 and see what changed after all those years."

600 songs? LOL I have more than that on just my MP3 player. I have easily 3 times more than then but if I want to do another one then it will be even harder to filter songs out...
I have found so many new bands and dived deep into Heavy Metal and its sub-genres. Biggest change is probably that I listen to much heavier stuff than I used to back then but also found admiration in alot of classic Bands that Influenced Metal or are closely related to it. Bands like Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin,Nirvana, Pearl Jam or Dio. I also got quite a good knowledge about Bands, their History or Metal history in general. The best source would be the DVD collection "Evolution of Metal".10/10 .
Metallica-Sanitarium (Welcome Home)
(The studio version is better imo but it will do)
Deciding what metallica song is my favorite was the hardest of all because i like every song from "Kill'em all" till "The black album" they are just legends F'ing lengends. This song has everything to me:Emotion ,riffs , soli and the powerfull voice of James Hetfield. This songs regularly gives me gossebumbs when i hear it
This song has still a high standing but like I stated above I moved on and today I would probably rate "... and Justice for all" as my favourite Song of Metallica now. It's a 10 minute Riff galore with a strong lyrics and meaning and overall more agressive.
Got to pleasure to see them live in July of 2014 and they put out a hell of a show. In the middle of the show it begin to rain and to flash. "Sadly" they played "Ride the Lightning" before it started. People went crazy with every lightning strike, good times.
Rammstein-Feuer frei
Even when i don't listen so much to Rammstein as i did a few years ago this song will always be in my top 5 of favorite songs. This song is the pure adrenalin rush for me.It also was one of the first songs i ever heard of this band.I think 2004 i got my first album of them but since then they got worse and worse IMO. PS: The singer is one grazy MoFo
Not many words to say about this one. I only occasionally listen to Rammstein anymore. Feuer Frei is still a great Song but can't compete with the heavy stuff I use to blast my ears nowadays. Also got to see Rammstein live at the Wacken open air in 2013. BEST SHOW EVER, no seriously go watch it. the pyrotechnics are outstanding.
System of a Down-Toxicity
What can i else say than "THIS SONG F'ING ROCKS".I'm a long year SoaD fan and for me it's the graziest band i've ever seen.Even got a sweater and a shirt of them
.
Pretty much the same as Rammstein. Still fav. song of them. Still have the sweater and shirt. They are going on tour next year again but to no festival I would like to attend D: and they are working on a new album, Insta buy most certainly.
Sabaton-Ghost Division
I just recently came over the album "The Art of War (Re-armed)"and got totally hooked on this band and especially this song.It has so much power behind it like the Tanks it tells about. It even has to do with german history, mabe not from the brightest era of german history but i don't care. They printed the backstory in the booklet and i will write it here in a...
They grew to be one of my most heard Bands and are also the Band I saw Live the most. Have every album and not tired off them yet. While I still like this song it's by far not my favourite anymore. They always use it as the first Song of their shows and I really think they would be good with changing this, they have so many great songs. This one a the very few bands that have no "bad albm" in my opinion, they always stayed true to what they do and how they do it. New fav. Song of them iss a close between two Songs.
Those 2 give the goosebumps everytime. The first one is about the Vietnam war and the second about the man with the little mustache.
Queen-I want to break free
I know it's not metal but everybody needs a bit variaety (isthisright?lol).
The ultimate good mood song but wierdest video EVER!
To bad Freddie died ,this was such a great band.
Still love this song but nowhere near the Top 5 anymore haha. Could listen to Queen the whole day at work though.
I hope you enjoyed this little review of mine of my own stuff
