Guess who has a con-cus-sion~
Meeeeee
I went skiing yesterday (I'm posting this at 1:30 am) and the hill we were going down has a really short run-off, and I was going really fast, and I was worried I was going to hit the forest so I tried to turn, hit an edge, and tumbled head over heels for like, 20 feet. According to bystanders, it was epic.
I didn't black out but I couldn't and still can't remember anything from the moment I stood up to the moment I walked into a chalet a few minutes later, and according to my friend, I was incoherent the whole time. Slurred speech, repeating myself, asking questions, asking the same questions five seconds later -- definite loss of short term memory. So yeah, a concussion.
(Let it be known that the only coherent thing I said was, "Oh god, oh god, I can't remember if I played Flight Rising today," which just goes to show how much I love dragon capitalism.)
I'm making this post because apparently I have a risk of slipping into a coma the first 24 hours or so, and I wanted people to know that if I disappear, this is probably why. When I go to bed tonight my parents are going to wake me up every 2 hours to make sure I haven't gone into said coma. I'll make a post tomorrow if everything goes okay.
Peace out river trouts!
