My gamertag is Mongo 50. What do you think when you hear the name Mongo? A caveman, blazing saddles, a city...Well my friends thought it fit me after seeing how I bowl. I just throw the ball down the lane with a slight hook but no spin. It looks like I'm dragging my knuckles when doing this. The name stuck as I usually have one word response to questions. Should I say grunts and noises instead of actual speech. ::lol:: I added fifty because Mongo was taken and like that number. In H3 days people would be like...you're not a 50 why is your name Mongo 50. After the story of the number they would be the polite people ::cens:: you've come to know on M.M.

Well, the flying shoe is a running symbol, specifically for track, and ILR means I love running, a sacred term passed down from the mighty Running Gods who allow us to use it so long as we sacrifice the occasional freshman. And since I'm a runner for both Cross and Track (and a ground pounder on the site) I figured that fit pretty well. I doubt I'll ever change it. If I did I might be sacrificed next.
I could probably do with a better signature.

The game CLUE, of course...

And I had thought all this time ILR stood for Instrument Landing Rule, which is an aviation qualification for pilots....

My buddy first introduced me to Halo 2 online gameplay. We eventually became roomates and I played on his gamer tag "Shwah II" Then I moved out got my own sbox and created Shwah 3! So yeah I totally stole it. But I make this gamer tag WORK!

P.S. The 3 is silent.

well funny enough my GT: kanggo sucka, originally came from Call of Duty: MW2. Whenever a Militia enemy shouted, they shouted "Tango Sucker!!" My brothers and I all thought it was Kango Sucka and we hooted and laughed about it for days. So thus born my GT: Kanggo Sucka (two G's, remember tht ;) )

That scene in Homeward Bound II, when Shadow tells Sassy to open the door on the pound's truck. She's all, "I'm on it Shadow! Kung Fu Kitty - meow!"
"Don't talk smack, just carry harder."

GT : Jesuspieces

it started as just "jesuspiece" from a Notorious BIG song. I grew up in a predominantly white mountain town in Canada so literally anything hip hop related at the time was like a mystical unicorn we all wanted to ride even though we had literally no idea what any of it meant.

But Biggy Smalls said "Cubans with the Jesuspiece" and that was it for me.

Fast forward a year later to a Halo CE tourney in a super cold Canadian city, Edmonton AB. I had just moved out of the parents and one of my new Halo friends "ZTS RACER" says if I don't sign up to the new Xbox live service as jesuspieces he's gonna take it because he thinks it's hilarious. So I take it, of course.

ZTS died of heart complications in his sleep some time later after I moved on to Vancouver. He was one of the best FPS gamers I've even met in person. RIP old friend. I hear nobody ever lags or quits out in Heaven bro.

That's the part of being part of a gaming community I don't think anyone's ever ready for. Games don't last long, and characters in them don't die. It's easy to forget we're also mortal.

Thanks for sharing, @JP.

JP, that was one of the most compelling stories I've heard in a while. I hope you can find those kind of friendships here with us,, and thank you for sharing
