Maybe those numbers are bonus points?
Or reflect some sort of Credit system they brought into Halo 4?
Experience?

And to add onto that, maybe they go up in 10s now because there's more than one way to add points to your score now. Types of kills and such add more than just a regular kill?
You just read this incredibly tiny text for no good reason, and have nothing to show for it.

i dont know. it sounds and looks great. but im curious of how the multiplayer works out. hope its not like CoD..i hate CoD multiplayer....

the "perks" seems to get me a little on one side if everyone gets the same perks from the start(like an AA choosing or something) it will be fine. but if you get better perks as you rank it will suk. it would remind me to much of CoD and in truth i prolly wouldnt end up playing halo multiplayer again. i would forge and maybe do campaign or customs but thats it. as of right now im kind of staying neutral im hoping its good with out expecting to much that it might come to be a let down. yet if i lower my excitement to much it may be amazing and it will blow me away to the point i wont put it down for about a month or more like i did when reach first came out.

Default jump height seems to be back to the H2/H3 level for the Spartan-4s.

Also kinda agree with this guy about perks... http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.ph ... tcount=167 ...very skeptical for now.

I really don't want perks because it could mess up the skill gap between players but it really depends what kind of perks are in the game. Every thing else in the video looks good so I have hope.

I think we should stop assuming they're even talking about perks, in the way we interpret them. I highly doubt they're gonna go 100% CoD clone with it. It could be something more subtle, like BF3's perk system.

Or it is a CoD in space and I'll have to eat my words. But for now, let's wait and see.

Oh you people and your propaganda machine... if they decide to go with perks they will, and if they decide not to they wont. Assumption is the mother of all Pineapple ups. I hope they don't but its a choice they will make. Id say keep ears open for wuen the next video or the beta is... or else one of y ::thumbs:: ou is likely to have a stroke.

Will Armor Abilities and/or Equipment return? –Daedalos42

Without going into too many details, in Halo: CE, you’d fight for control over armor abilities based on timing and map control, and that’s something that evolved over time until it became the Equipment pick-ups in Halo 3 and eventually the Armor Ability loadouts in Reach. Halo 4’s system will be a logical evolution, but based on lessons and inspiration from the (matchmaking) successes and less-than-successes in prior titles.
