Monday BTB Infinity...

Mon Jun 10, 2013 11:03 am

It sounds like the changes to matchmaking, the Hog in specific, are being enjoyed by most people. And Infinity BTB certainly takes away a lot of the pain points for Hog drivers.

So....party up anyone?

Tonight, Monday June 10th at 9pm Pacific/ BTB with a focus on Infinity and vehicles.

What pain points are taken away?
Even more vehicles to deal with, still plasmaNades and Plasmapistol spawn? random ordnance?
Alot of chainhogs switched with gausshogs.
Infinity Slayer is still a pain in the ass.
Sure Slayer Pro can be fun but first you have to get a vote option for it. it#s just 1/2 the pain.

I disliked Slayer Pro in BTB when I played it. In addition to the removal of the motion tracker being extremely annoying for anyone who wants to use vehicles (Me), the pre-set loadouts took me by surprise every time and I never had time to actually weigh one against the other. Also it was of course a massive pain in the Mantis.

Also none of the vehicle settings seemed to change with Slayer Pro, I still got a Gauss Hog (Glad to see it on Vortex, fits better there) + Mantis + Banshee.

I got some good hog runs in Settler though, it was also getting a lot of votes. I definitely like the new increased damage on the chain turret. Settler also seems like a decent map for hogging.

Sorry I didn't see this thread til Tuesday btw. I haven't been playing a lot of Halo 4 (Just split-screen a couple times with a buddy lately, and mostly because BF3 doesn't support more than one local player), but I just wasn't online to even know it was happening last night.

No worries. There were plenty of OcR people on and we had some great hog runs. I even got an excellent Banshee run on Ragnarok.
