Dont really like the idea either, just like i didnt like adding 2 ghosts instead of 8 revs. Had to do it cuz of 'projectile lag'. 6 revs seemed to fix the issue until lately. Dunno what i could have changed. Just the slanted platform corners and 3 pointer goal. Also behind each 3 pointer are 4 phased together tin cups to suck the ball in if it gets close enough, but they are behind the wall and cant see them, so shouldnt affect lag.
I used to use 4 shield doors for the goal. 2 blue and 2 orange at each. The orange keeps out manned vehicles and the blue ones keep unmanned ones from being knocked in. I have removed the blue ones now since there isnt much danger if vehicles get in. No mines to trip the goal now. Also reduced the depth of the goal and only way manned revenants stay in is sideways or they get sucked out thru orange shield.
