Due to peer-pressure, guilt trips and an overwhelming sense of nostalgia I actually purchased an xbox yesterday , for the sole purpose of playing halo5 (with you guys ofc )
As this is supposed to be an introduction, and there are a lot of new faces; here's a little about me.
My name's Mike, or Jonesy, or w/e else you decide you want to call me(dw i've been called worse.) I'm 25 and from the UK. Originally joined the site around 7~ years ago during the peak of Halo 3, once Halo 3's popularity died down, so did my enthusiasm to play; I tried a bit of reach and 4, never liked either of them, so I disappeared for around 4/5 years. Gaming has dropped off my to-do list in the last few years, the only game I've played is League of Legends, and I play that pretty rarely; but maybe Halo 5 can change that, who knows
As for me; someone from this community once described me as just like Marmite.
Spoiler: show
The advertising for Marmite in the UK has always been; "You either Love it, or you Hate it" Which kinda sums me up pretty well. If you get my odd sense of humour, and you can deal with my straightforward, no nonsense way of talking, I hope we'll get on great. I may come across as an egotistical, arrogant douchebag; but I'm not like that all the time
To the older members, I'd like to say I've grown up, as we all have. You'd have seen the change in me when I originally joined the site(see above, egotistical, arrogant douchebag), to how I was at the end. I'd like to say I've improved even more as a person, hopefully I've gotten wiser, and not just older.
If you've read this far, I'm already impressed, I struggled to read it myself. I considered deleting the whole middle-bit, because as a rule, calling yourself out in an introduction is a really poor way to start; but in the end, it's a part of who I am. And actually, being a part of this community actually changed me as a person (i'd like to think for the better) and in the end I felt that no matter what that says about me, it says something great about this community.
/pointless rant.
So yeah, H!
