I just finished the last DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition and has me kinda messed up. Definitely one of the better DLC experiences I've had with BioWare in a long time.

Dragon Age: Inquisition's ending was brought to you by Indiana Jones and Captain America

The story of Dragon Age: Inquisition wasn't finished when BioWare released its role-playing game to critical acclaim in November 2014.

Inquisition had a proper ending, to be sure, but the complete story wouldn't be told for nearly a year. In September 2015, BioWare Edmonton released Trespasser, the downloadable content that brought the multifaceted story of dragons and magic to its definitive conclusion.

And according to lead writer Patrick Weekes and narrative presentation lead John Epler — effectively the screenwriter and director, who spoke about Trespasser at GDC 2016 — it couldn't have happened without thematic visions inspired by Indiana Jones and Captain America.
I messed with Duce and got banned. laugh at my expense...

So, with 343 shitting the bed, I've been playing this again and am down to search some multiplayer. Gonna play with Panda, and I know others have it to. Interested?

Since we've been playing, we've got a basic party comp going:

Team We Got This: Legionnaire (Tank), Archer (Ranged DPS), Keeper (Support), Any (2nd DPS)

Build Design: Total Crowd Control with the Legionnaire, Solid Protection and DPS from Keeper, Consistent Damage from Archer, and experimental slot for a second DPS

Spoiler: show
Legionnaire Abilities: War Cry (Call to Arms), To the Death (Engarde), Walking Fortress (Siege Breaker), Shield Bash (Ring the Bell)
Passives: Adamant, Turn the Bolt, Resilience, Biggest Threat, Turn the Blade, Cutting Words, Trust the Steel, Bulwark, It'll Cost You, Deep Reserves, Shield Breaker, Bear Mauls the Wolves,

Core Play: Taunt enemies with War Cry to gain guard. Use shield bash on guard and primed enemies for detonations (also has a knockdown). To the Death big targets and call it out to teammates for more guard and easy melt. Walking Fortress is your oh shit ability when you're being melted.

Archer Abilities: Explosive Shot (Chain Reaction), Leaping Shot (Rolling Draw), Longshot (No Upgrade), Full Draw (No Upgrade)
Passives: First Blood, Cheap Shot, Flanking Fire, Tricks of the Trade, Opportunity Knocks, Bloodied Prey, Disable, And take Them Down, Death From Above, Strafing Shots, Pincushion, Gaps in the Armor, Throatcutter, Fury of the Storm

Core Play: Just keep firing arrow. Lead a fight by calling out your first target for Full Draw so tank can charge it and get a taunt off (should wipe an enemy immediately). Use Long Shot on faraway targets and primed targets. Use Explosive Shots on groups of enemies. Use leaping shot on enemies that push you. All of your passives make everyone better, so just keep firing arrows.

Keeper Abilities: Barrier (Elegant Defense), Fade Cloak (Decloaking Blast), Static Cage (Lightning Cage), Dispel (Transmute Magic)
Passives: Rejuvenating Barrier, Peaceful Aura, Guardian Spirit, Cycle of Life, Mana Surge, Veiled Riposte, Nature's Shield, Knight-Protector, Winter Stillness, Strength of Spirits, Clean Burn, Conductive Current

Core Play: Keep Barrier on as many people as possible to maximize cooldown and trigger Mana Surge for Frozen priming. Use Dispel to get barrier from magical creatures and mages (also a detonator). Use Static Cage on a large group around the tank to get Paralyze priming and massive damage. Fade Cloak is your Oh Shit ability to run away and blast an annoying enemy away.

Secondary DPS: I recommend something with massive AoE damage to compliment this group. I think a second mage works best with this party comp, as that keeps everyone at range and lets the tank soak all the melee damage.

This is a good build to let someone else experiment with a character to see what they're good at.

Team Terror: Silent Sister (Tank), Reaver (DPS), Assassin (DPS), Necromancer (DPS)

Build Design: The Silent Sister and Reaver can create constant fear effects that the Necromancer can spread. All three DPS have extra damage or guaranteed crits from fear and can take total advantage. This build can melt mobs and bosses.

Spoiler: show
Silent Sister Abilities: War Cry (Call to Arms), To the Death (Engarde), Flashing Steel (Defensive Spin), War Horn (Break Their Spirit)
Passives: Unforgiving Chain, Bulwark, Bear Mauls the Wolves, Salty Sea Dog, Cutting Words, Untouchable Defense, Grisly Mutilation, Terrifying Fury, Turn the Blade, Turn the Bolt, Deep Reserves

Core Play: Taunt enemies with War Cry to gain guard. Use Flashing Steel when your guard is low around a mob. To the Death big targets and call it out to teammates for more guard and easy melt. Use War Horn around a group to create panic and fear for melt on enemies, especially when near an armored enemy.

Reaver Abilities: Devour (Consume), Rampage, Dragon Rage (Ravage), Mighty Blow (No Upgrade), Ring of Pain (no upgrade and not mapped)
Passives: Fervor, Warrior's Resolve, Blood Frenzy, Blood Bath, Scenting Blood, Terrifying Fury, Deathblow, Coup de Grace, It'll Cost You, Adamant, Resilience, Deep Reserves, Crippling Blows, Clear a Path, Bear Mauls the Wolves

Core Play: Smash everything. Use Dragon Rage for Damage. Use Devour for Health. Use Rampage in big fights to get more health and deal more damage. Use Mighty Blow for knockdowns and detonation. All of your passives feed into dealing tons of damage, taking advantage of fear, and creating fear.

Assassin Abilities: Twin Fangs (Ripping Fangs), Deathblow (Trill of Victory), Stealth (Lost in the Shadows), Poisoned Weapons (Infected Wounds)
Passives: First Blood, Cull the Herd, Mercy Killing, Cheap Shot, Looked Like It Hurt, Unforgiving Chain, Throatcutter, Bloodied Prey, Sneak Attack, Ambush, Easy to Miss, Dance of Death, Explosive Toxin, Bloodthirst

Core Play: Stealth to the back of the fight, and then activate poisoned weapons, follow with twin fangs into the back of an enemy to poison and knock them down. The enemy will explode into a toxic cloud and you can eliminate a group of archers and ranged enemies quickly. Then you can come back to the mob fight and use deathblow to get tons of crits on fear and panicked targets for no cooldown and stamina buffs.

Necromancer Abilities : Horror (Despair), Mind Blast (Fortifying Blast), Walking Bomb (Virulent), Fade Step (Frost Step)
Passives: Blinding Terror, Conductive Current, Virulence, Pyromancer, Hastened Demise, Overwhelming Force, Simulcrum, Death Siphon, Power of the Dead, Gathering Storm, Clean Burn, Tricks of the Trade, Winter Stillness

Core Play: Use Horror in a large group of people to create fear. Use Mind Blast when surrounded to gain barrier and detonate other effects. Walking Bomb will spread around a battlefield creating death. Frost Step will freeze targets for more detonations. All of your passives make you more powerful against panicked targets, spread panic around the battlefield, make others stronger, and help with cooldowns and mana.

This is a good build to let someone else experiment with a character to see what they're good at.

This is a very high DPS build that should be able to CC the hell out of a battlefield.
