What's your setup for playing online and games in general.

Wed Mar 09, 2016 9:07 am

I am curious on how everyone plays there games. Either online or casual. Iv heard and read alot about different setups wether it be a big tv to a monitor. I'm asking this because I'm asked alot about mine and some are intrigued on how I deal with game delay. Is there a way to adjust the tv or console for this delay?

To me I never thought of it being a real issue. I play on a 60" led tv. I sit 10 to 12 ft away on a foot rest so I'm eye level and don't fall asleep playing. It happens more often than you'd believe. We have talked about it my wife and I about getting something just for me to play on. I need some input on it first. Also how would a curved tv/monitor be to play competitive and casual?

If I'm playing single player or just trying to relax I play on the projector. When I want to play seriously I play on the tv on the left that I also use as my main pc monitor.

Currently, since my family is moving, I have a small, rolling end table with a 27in HD monitor and xbox sitting on it. I carry it around the house and play wherever there is availible seating
If you think we're a rolling double kill.. come get it.

Been meaning to post for a while. I have 2 poorly wall mounted 24" gaming monitors (offset in height) and a wall mounted standing desk.

My XBONE is on the rack in the lower right section beneath the desk. I play on the right monitor and my desk is currently a mess.

Nice Ducke, should invest in a mechanical keyboard so everyone will be impressed with your audible typing skills.

Hahah, well naturally they must hear my vicious typing!
I opted for a $25 HP wireless keyboard, and I think it will do the job perfectly.

Not as nice as those seen above since I'm sharing my monitor with both my pc (on the desk) and the xbox (obviously up top), and the desk with my NAS, scanner, and printer, but I'm hoping it will be an improvement over playing on the 60" in the family room:
