Centering function in external guide pages

Sat Jan 30, 2016 11:41 am

It looks like I used it correctly (outside all other functions) but the Banshee Guide is not centering headers when pulled to the external guides page. I know we'd prefer to use hero images, but unless we can limit the height of them, they're more distracting in this case than useful.

I'll try to figure out why the center isn't working.

I do think we are over using the heroimage bbcodes. They make a lot of images look awful.

That's an easy fix; I can do it now in like 5min

Also if you're going to use a heroimage I do suggestion that the image at least be a large enough size that it can safely span a page.
For example this image is too small and vertical to be enlarged across the width of a page and retain its quality.
Spoiler: show

If you use an image that's small it's going to be enlarged and look like a pixel-monstrosity ::lol::

and yeah, the heroimage codes are a resource I built in but you all don't have to use them, especially if the end product is worse

Yeah. I'm honestly shocked today at the lack of quality screenshots of the weapons and vehicles on the interwebs. Perhaps we should be building an archive.

Fixed the bit of styling that caused the heroimage text to be off-center (vertically) and I made them a bit shorter

ohmygod i love the subtitle for the Banshee guide "Terror of the Skies"

and yeah, actually now that you mention it an archive of our own could be useful. Particularly for images that are hard to find otherwise
